ACCOUNT SPECIALIST

Job Summary:

The Account Specialist at Highway Two is responsible for achieving and surpassing sales and customer service goals for assigned regions through: daily order management, customer relations, and gathering and analyzing information necessary to ensure industry leading customer service for our valued retail partners. Being a self-starter is critical, as this person will work directly with our Sales Management team and other departments to support our go to market strategies for a variety of retail customers.

Responsibilities

· Provide extensive levels of customer service to our retail customers including one call resolution, one hour email speed of response, and additional goals to match customer expectations.

· Achieve sales goals for assigned region through, but not limited to, increasing sales and order size daily by offering promotional opportunities, up–selling, cross– selling, substitute/complementary product suggestion, and thorough involvement in seasonal programs.

· Use provided sales tools (including Power BI) to analyze territories and develop sales and marketing strategies to meet territory goals

· Communicate and educate customers on product terminology and technical information as well as the features and benefits of all Highway Two product categories. (Maintaining up-to-date bicycle product knowledge is a must).

· Develop professional business relationships with current and future retail clients

· Raise potential opportunities to improve efficiency and customer service metrics

· Work directly with outside rep in assigned territory

· Travel to territory once per year to visit key accounts within territory

· Possess thorough understanding of Highway Two brands and products

· Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest · Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory

TERRITORY MANAGER

Job Summary:

The Territory Manager at Highway Two is responsible for promoting and selling the H2 portfolio of products within an assigned geographic territory. This person will be a consultative advisor and retail market expert who can manage and grow our dealer network by selling in our preseason program, promoting seasonal initiatives, introducing new products, training staff how to sell H2 products, and merchandizing our brands.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Be our best salesperson, one who adds value in every customer visit

· Identify and develop the best current and future retail partners for H2 and our brands in the territory

· Strategically determine what is best for Highway Two and retailers’ businesses in the region

· Achieve sales goals for assigned region through, but not limited to, increasing sales and order size through offering promotional opportunities, up-selling, cross-selling, substitute/complementary product suggestion and thorough involvement in seasonal programs

· Strategically negotiate with potential and existing customers to close sales

· Develop professional business relationships with current and future retail clients

· Maintain communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest

· Develop strategic sales plan for specific market leaders and chain stores with goal of growing them to key accounts

· Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management

· Educate customers on product, terminology, and technical information as well as the features and benefits of all Highway Two, including regular sales clinics on H2 portfolio

· Promote and implement backend sales tools: EDI, PIM, EOL/Disco reports to optimize buying and communication

· Assist in the development and implementation of brand displays at retail level

· Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any pertinent territory information

· Work collaboratively with brand managers and inside sales to manage accounts

· Work with inside sales teams to resolve any issues that may arise, including pricing, warranty, and customer dissatisfaction

· Cycling or active sports industry experience a plus

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to travel up to 80%
